Report GSV of $6.2 Billion in
2000
VENTURA, CA—The top 27
qualifying companies responding to the Automated Builder annual survey of HUD-Code
home manufacturers in North America combined for a total of $6.2 billion in gross sales
volume for HUD-Code home production in 2000. The companies participating identified
themselves to the AB circulation department as HUD-Code home manufacturers.
The companies listed are ranked by reported gross
sales volume. These companies reported manufacturing over 322,303 HUD-Code floor sections,
plus 9,834 modular floors and listed operating over 212 plants employing over 43,150
people.
Firms appearing in the ranking by gross sales volume
returned their survey forms prior to the Sept. 12 deadline. Accuracy is the responsibility
of the respondents. AB makes no claim for the completeness of the list because some
companies did not return the survey form, did not list their gross sales volume, or
responded too late.
